So far FNB has run very successful ad campaigns. Sure Steve annoyed us for about a year, but eventually he became the love to hate you guy. And it worked. Before the Steve campaign, FNB was not a force to be reckoned with in the South African banking landscape. It is now. Even their Beep Bank campaign is great, but when they tried to go all sentimental and speak of change, not just changing your bank but real change, the ANCYL had a problem.
